On Monday the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif constituted a committee headed by Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb to look into the matter of Indian movies being banned from local cinemas, the actor had a suggestion.
Shahid Shahid took to his social media accounts to make a “humble request” to the PM which involved that if a committee was screening Indian films here, it should ensure that Pakistani films are shown in neighboring countries.
Looks like a reasonable request, we have our fingers crossed on PM actually taking this matter into consideration.
Previously, screening of Bin Roye in India was banned due to objections by a group called Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (MNSKS).
Bowing to the demands of MNSKS, Bollywood distributor B4U films decided to ban the Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed starrer in Maharashtra
