It starts off with the director, Glenn Weiss, proposing to her girlfriend, to become his wife, and, she accepts the proposal, hugging him on the stage. The director puts his mother’s wedding ring on his girlfriend’s finger and dropping down on one knee, to ecstatic applause.

One of the most pivotal moments of the entire evening exhibits the veteran actress, Betty White getting honored on the 70th Emmys amidst an abundance of applaud and happiness galore. She says, “It’s incredible that I am still in this business and that you are still putting up with me.”
